What is the Letterbox Project?
With a mission to ensure everyone feels visible and valued, ConnectedAU provides a platform to give people connection through delivering a range of programs including their Letterbox Project.

The Letterbox Project is a national pen pal program using beautiful handwritten letters to provide support and connection to people all over Australia. In the digital age, a handwritten letter is a beautiful reminder of the power of real connection. Something seemingly simple can have a profound and lasting impact - for both the recipient and the writer. The Letterbox Project is only one small part of the ConnectedAU community, but it has monumental impact in every way.

How to get involved?

  1. Discover the list of people who would love to receive a letter from you here >
  2. Once you have written your letter, drop it into the Letterbox Project mailbox located on Ground Level near Swarovski and Mecca.
  3. The team at ConnectedAU will deliver your letter or card to the recipient.

You can also send in general letters/cards not addressed to anyone specific.
