Sydney Tower Eye: Sydney's highest view, elevated

Standing 309 metres above the city, the Sydney Tower has been an integral part of the skyline for 44 years and now, after a sleek refresh, the Sydney Tower Eye’s Observation Deck has reopened as a modern, premium space where timeless views meet a fresh new experience.

The revitalised space features new interiors, comfortable seating zones and enhanced viewing opportunities, all designed to create a calm, elevated environment.

Inspired by the natural world, the carefully considered design blends warm, earthy tones reflecting sandstone cliffs and bushland with ocean-inspired hues and airy textures that bring a sense of lightness and fluidity.

Ian Wood, Vice President Merlin Entertainments ANZ, said, “The Sydney Tower Eye has always been the ultimate place to take in the city’s most breathtaking views. With the reimagined Observation Deck, we’ve created a space that feels contemporary and welcoming - designed to elevate the experience and give guests a new way to connect with Sydney.”

To celebrate the relaunch, Sydney locals can take advantage of a limited-time offer with $29 tickets to experience the transformed space.

Adding to the experience, guests can now relax at a newly introduced café, enjoying light bites, sweet treats and coffee with the world’s most spectacular backdrop.

From the Observation Deck, visitors are treated to 360-degree views that capture Sydney at its most magnificent. The panorama sweeps across the glittering expanse of Sydney Harbour and the vibrant waterfront precincts, while to the east the coastline stretches toward Bondi Beach. On clear days, the vista reaches an extraordinary 80 kilometres west to the peaks of the Blue Mountains, showcasing Sydney’s diverse landscape from harbour to hinterland.

The reimagined Sydney Tower Eye is more than a photo moment, it’s a must-visit destination for travellers and locals, offering the chance to pause, reflect, and truly connect with the city from the sky.
