Loro Piana is the symbol of Italian excellence and its collections embody a distinctive style characterized by understated elegance.  

The House has deep and longstanding ties with the region, beginning in the 1960s, when Franco Loro Piana started to source fine merino wool from the southern Australian island of Tasmania.

One of the Maison’s excellences named The Gift of Kings® also originates from Australia, a rare and fine Merino wool that Loro Piana transforms into butter soft and fluid garments dedicated to true connoisseurs.


The first Loro Piana boutique in Australia is located on the fourth floor of the Westfield Sydney, marking the Maison’s official debut in the Australia market.

The boutique’s sophisticated façade, inspired by the soft and wavy texture of Loro Piana fabrics, unfolds across three windows, and is crafted from handmade terracotta ceramic tiles, combining tradition with innovation. The tiles, made in Italy, are realised in glazed ceramic in the iconic Loro Piana Kummel colour.

The boutique unfolds across a single, spacious level, offering a seamless and immersive experience. Positioned on a prominent corner of the mall, it welcomes clients through two distinct entrances. The main entrance opens into the women’s soft accessories and bags area, which leads to the women’s ready-to-wear and shoes section on the right. Elegant wooden portals frame the main ready-to-wear room, while armchairs upholstered in sumptuous Loro Piana fabrics and refined jasper marble accents enrich the atmosphere. On the opposite side, the journey continues into the menswear area, accessible through its own dedicated entrance.

Minimalist, refined, and dynamic, the boutique’s concept and interior design represent the true essence of Loro Piana, featuring core elements of natural materials, a warm colour palette, and signature oak and carabottino wood details. It is an homage to the Maison’s heritage and Sergio Loro Piana’s legacy, reimagined using a classic-yet-modern approach. The whole space represents a flawless fusion of sophistication and comfort, thereby evoking an inviting ‘home away from home’ feeling.

The richly textured finishes and surfaces, wool-and-silk carpets, wall coverings in silk, raffia, and Loro Piana Interiors in cashmere and linen, epitomise the Maison’s attention to sensuous tactility. Warm earthy tones of the House’s signature kummel, beige, and burgundy, combined with soft lighting, add to the alluring and enveloping ambiance.

The boutique features the Spring/Summer 2026 Collection. Ideal for both the city and resort locations, the silhouettes are elongated and fluid, graciously following the body as it moves, both in the daytime looks and in the eveningwear. Colours and matter blend into a rich amalgamation of textures that include cashmere, silk, and Merino wool in an earthy palette of sandy and muddy tones, creams and tans with accents of red, yellow, marigold, turquoise, pale pink and blues.

Tailoring is soft, with double breasted suits and coats. Accessories include purposefully exaggerated moulded felt hats and jewels with natural stones. Shoes are flat and slender, while leathergoods come in the softest buttery leathers and in fabric iterations that match the collection.
