T2 Has Arrived at Westfield Sydney

T2 is now open at Westfield Sydney, bringing a fresh take on tea, matcha and immersive tea experiences to Level 2, with entry via Pitt Street.

Celebrating 30 years of transforming the way Australians think about tea, T2 is marking its milestone anniversary with a new Sydney store that blends retail, art, design and innovation in a bold vision for the future of tea.

The opening comes as T2 enters a renewed era of growth, delivering its strongest financial performance in more than a decade, with EBIT up 20 per cent year-to-date. Meanwhile, matcha sales in New South Wales have reached an all-time high, with flavoured matcha sales growing 82 per cent between January and June 2026, highlighting a new generation of consumers embracing tea in fresh and unexpected ways.

The new Westfield Sydney store represents the next evolution of the T2 experience, bringing together innovation, artistry, personalisation and world-class design to create a destination that goes beyond traditional retail.

“For 30 years, T2 has treated tea as something more than a drink. It’s colour, culture, craft, ritual and self-expression. As tea culture evolves, we’re seeing customers embrace tea in entirely new ways, from matcha and iced teas to premium tea experiences on the go,” said T2 Managing Director Christelle Young.

Powered by state-of-the-art brewing technology, the first of its kind in Australia, Brew Bar delivers premium tea experiences at speed, perfect for picking up your favourite brew while exploring Westfield Sydney.
