Noosa Chocolate Factory is best known for small batch, hand-crafted chocolate, but our vegan range is one of our best-kept secrets. Ahead of World Vegan Day on Sunday 1 November, here’s what’s available at our Westfield Chermside store.

You’ll find Noosa Chocolate Factory on Level 1 at Westfield Chermside, near the Concierge desk. We have café seating if you’d like to stay a while.

What makes our chocolate vegan?

Our vegan chocolate is a 39% cocoa milk-style chocolate made with plant-based ingredients and no added dairy. It’s smooth, lightly sweet, and handcrafted in small batches at our family-owned factory in Noosaville before being delivered fresh to Chermside.

Vegan-friendly chocolate to try

• Freeze-Dried Strawberries: crispy whole strawberries coated in vegan chocolate
• Cherries, Almonds and Macadamias: panned and packaged for easy grab-and-go
• Coconut Rough and Fruit & Nut slabs: vegan chocolate blended with coconut, fruit and nuts
• Vegan plain slabs: simple, pure 39% vegan milk chocolate
• Vegan chocolate hampers: our favourites packed into a gift for the special vegan in your life

Vegan hot chocolate and iced drinks

Our chocolate drinks are made with our hand-made chocolate and milk, so vegan versions are easy. Order a hot chocolate, hot mocha, or iced chocolate or mocha, and ask our team to make it with vegan chocolate and your choice of alternative milk. If you prefer less sweet, our 56%, 73% and 90% chocolate drinks can also be made vegan friendly.

What isn’t vegan

Not everything in store is vegan friendly. Our non-vegan panned range uses shellac for its glossy coat. Milk and white chocolate contain milk, marshmallow and rocky road use gelatine, and fudge, caramels and brittles contain butter. Our team is happy to guide your selection.
