Meet other parents and babies for a fun rhyme time session of singing, clapping and dancing. Learn songs and action rhymes to nurture your baby's pre-literacy, communication, language and social skills. Ideal for babies aged up to one year. First 5 Forever toddler time

Magical portals, fantastical worlds

Join in the school holiday fun at your local library! Learn about portals and how they transport characters to other worlds through activities guided by author Annaleise Byrd. Well discuss examples from popular childrens fiction, including Annaleises books Losing the Plot and Down the Plot Hole. Then well examine some magical objects for inspiration before creating our own magical portals and fantastical worlds! Ideal for children aged 8–12 years.

Sensory vision boards

Join in the school holiday fun at your local library! A hands on, DIY collage workshop for teens and young adults where we will take inspiration from magazines and turn them into paper collages with sensory 3D elements like pockets, paper fidgets and springs. CPR awareness

This free workshop will give you the confidence to help keep someone alive using CPR while the ambulance is on its way, and provide information about how to use an automated external defibrillator. Presented by qualified trainers from the Queensland Local Ambulance Committee, in partnership with the Queensland Ambulance Service.
