Immerse yourself in the Indigiverse
This NAIDOC Week, Westfield members can redeem a free copy of Dreamwalker #1, a groundbreaking comic book that introduces the first female Indigenous superhero and matriarch to the Indigiverse, the world’s first shared Indigenous comic book universe.
Dreamwalker introduces Mungala, the first female Indigenous superhero and matriarch of the Indigiverse. A powerful Gooniyandi warrior from the north west of Western Australia, Mungala journeys across time, space and dimensions to find and protect her stolen child. Blending First Nations lore, history, language and superhero storytelling, Dreamwalker is a story of family, strength, protection and cultural power, inspired by co-creator Scott Wilson’s own great-grandmother, Mangala.
