Westfield Southland is partnering with Kingston Heath Cricket Club to bring families a fun-filled Come & Try Cricket session, introducing children to the game in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Children and families will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of cricket skills, games and interactive activities, learning the fundamentals of batting and bowling, while having fun and building confidence. Friendly club volunteers will be on hand throughout the session, making it the perfect introduction to cricket for children of all skill levels.

The event also provides a great opportunity for families to learn more about Kingston Heath Cricket Club's junior programs, meet club representatives and explore how to get involved ahead of the upcoming season. Whether your child is picking up a bat for the first time or looking to join a local club, this is a great chance to get active, make new friends and discover a love of cricket.

Kingston Heath Cricket Club

Community, family, friendship and a love of cricket are the foundations of Kingston Heath Cricket Club – the mighty 'Burras'.

Founded in 1990, the club is proud of its welcoming, spirited culture and strong connection to Kingston families.

The club continues to thrive, with its men's First XI competing in SECA's top division, the Longmuir Shield, alongside one of the longest-running and most successful women's programs in the Bayside area. The women's team is also the current recipient of the Spirit of Cricket Award for the Cricket Southern Bayside Women's Competition.

Kingston Heath Cricket Club welcomes players of all ages, with programs ranging from entry-level cricket for girls and boys aged 3–10 through to junior, teen and adult teams.
