Cheers to 50 Years

In 1975, our centre opened its doors for the very first time, a humble beginning that grew into something truly special. Back then, life looked a little different, but one thing has remained the same: our place at the heart of the community. Over the past five decades, we've grown alongside you, from Saturday shopping trips and first jobs to school holiday outings and everyday moments shared with family and friends.

This September, we marked our 50th anniversary with four incredible days of celebrations, and what a celebration it was! From Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 September, the centre came alive with live entertainment, giveaways and nostalgic moments. Here is a look back at how we celebrated 50 years with you, our community.

A Walk Through Time

Our customers took a nostalgic stroll down memory lane as we showcased highlights from the past 50 years. From vintage photos to fun facts and community milestones, our timeline tunnel brought back some unforgettable memories.

Cupcake Giveaway for Westfield Members

In honour of our 50th, we gave away 100 cupcakes each day to 100 lucky Westfield Members. A sweet way to say thank you for being part of our journey.

Smile, Snap & Celebrate

Our 50th Photo Moment was a hit with customers, capturing fun & celebratory snaps, sharing their photos on Instagram for the chance to win a $50 Westfield Gift Card.

Spin to Win Surprises

Our 'Win' Cart was a crowd favourite! Each day brought a new twist, with lucky Westfield Members spinning the wheel to win everything from vouchers and prizes to signed albums and more!

Meet & Greet with Iconic Characters

Families had the chance to meet some of their most beloved characters from childhood, including Bugs Bunny, Tweety, and Tom & Jerry, who all made a special appearance on Saturday 27 September.

On Sunday 27 September, Hamburglar and Birdie from McDonald's joined in the fun also making a special appearance at Westfield Parramatta.

Take Your Best Shot

Customers stepped up to the challenge at our 'Play' Cart which featured a classic game of Ring Toss! Winners walked away with a delicious birthday treat.

Retailer Pop-ups & Exclusive Experiences

Across the four days, our retailers brought amazing experiences to our customers, with pop ups offering something for everyone to enjoy, including:

Fun for Kids & Families

Our Kids Corner was buzzing across the four days! With little ones enjoying colouring in and craft activities.

Face painting and fairy floss on the weekend added an extra dose of fun and lots of happy faces!

Unforgettable Live Performances

Each day of the celebration was filled with vibrant energy, as talented musicians, dancers, and roaming performances brought the centre to life. From captivating stage shows to roaming acts, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

We were especially proud to showcase the incredible talent from our local community, with standout performances from dance groups and musicians that made the celebration truly unforgettable.
