This month we caught up with Natalie and her team from salt&pepper. Made up of passionate individuals, they share a joy in helping customers make a house a home. Read on for gift ideas and festive styling tips.

Q1: What is your role and how long have you been working with salt&pepper?

I am a sales assistant at salt&pepper and part of a team who are eager to inspire you and help add those final touches to create the home of your dreams. As we are a new store, I have only been working with salt&pepper for a little over a month now, but it always makes my day when I help customers find the perfect item for their needs.

Q2: What are some of the most popular items in salt&pepper’s current product range?

I think the fragrance is one of our most popular products, especially the Wanderlust range. With scents from fruity to flora, there's something for everyone! The clocks are also surprisingly popular. Then, of course, our dinner sets. Just like our fragrances, we have a wide range of options that fit any home's decor.

Q3: The festive season is just around the corner; do you have any tips on styling the perfect Christmas table?

The best tip I can give is to not be afraid of mixing and matching dinner sets for an eclectic look. We currently have a table on display that you can visit for inspiration. It's ok, you're allowed to steal our style!

Q4: Are there any new festive-themed homeware products that customers can look forward to?

We have our festive Kringle range, which is exclusive to the holiday season. The items are inspired by Australia's summertime spin on the festive season and include items for serving up chips, dips, chocolate and even trinkets. These are perfect for adding a touch of Christmas to every corner of the house, or even as gifts for friends and family.

Q5: Can you recommend great gift ideas from salt&pepper for different occasions, like Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries or housewarmings? What are some of your personal favourites?

My personal favourite gift idea is our range of fragrances, which make perfect gifts because you can’t go wrong. We even have some Kringle diffusers that would be great stocking fillers. Everything we sell is suited for housewarmings too, from cookware and dining sets to vases and clocks. But if you don’t know what they need, a gift card is perfect!

Q6: What are some of the best-selling items at salt&pepper, and why do you think customers love them so much?

Some of the best-selling items at our store include the Brae dinner sets and our diffusers. The Brae dinner sets have a sleek look to them, and I think it's hard to find stores that sell high quality reed diffusers. Our range isn't just high quality, but we also have a wide variety to choose from. There's a scent for everyone.

Q7: What new products are you expecting for the summer season?

We currently offer the Kringle range and a fragrance line exclusive to Christmas and our summer season. There is even more to come so you’ll just have to visit us and see!
