With International Women's Day on Friday 8 March, we have drawn focus to a predominantly female led and run business, DECJUBA. Since it's establishment 12 years ago, DECJUBA now have over 140 stores in Australia and New Zealand with the North Lakes store opening in December 2023. Read on to learn more about Cait and Chloe from DECJUBA North Lakes.

Q1: What is your role and how long have you been with DECJUBA?

Cait - I am currently the Store Manager at North Lakes however have been with DECJUBA for 3.5 years.

Chloe - I am the Assistant Store Manager and joined the company 3 months ago.

Q2: What is your go-to DECJUBA staple piece?

Cait - I can't go past our blazers! The 'Carys BF' is one of my absolute favourites.

Chloe - I love a denim maxi skirt moment. Our Zaylee is super cute and casual.

What is your favourite fashion season and why?

Cait - Autumn/Winter of course! Blazers, trench coats and puffer jackets are a big vibe mixed with our active pieces.

Chloe - Autumn/Winter is also my favourite season. It's comfy and cozy, the knitwear finally gets to make an appearance.

How would you describe a DECJUBA women in three words?

Cait - She is EVERY women.

Chloe - Confident, courageous and classy.

Which women inspire you and why?

Cait - So many, for so many reasons. My best friends, Kim Kardarshian and most importantly our fearless leader, DECJUBA Owner and CEO, Tania Austin.

Chloe - I am inspired by so many different types of women on a daily basis. I have the privilege of being surrounded by uplifting colleagues and get to meet so many strong willed women at work who encourage me to enjoy life. The gentle and caring women in my family and enriching female friendships inspire me to be myself. It's very much the small but powerful inspirations from those close to me that have such an enlightening daily impact.

What does International Women's Day mean to you?

Cait - In the words of Queen B, who run the world? Girls!

Chloe - It's a time for society to celebrate women and empower each other to be our best selves! A reminder that we are more and capable and not to be underestimated.
