To ensure all our customers can navigate around our centre with ease we offer the following services to assist with accessibility.

Mobility hire

Mobility hire is available from both Concierge desks.

The Concierge desk on Level 2 is located next to Starbucks. Enter via Logan Road into the Yellow Car Park where you will find best accessibility parking near Sparkles Car Wash. The Concierge desk on Level 1 is located near Kmart and H&M. Enter via Link St into the Green Car Park where you will find best accessibility parking on Level B1.

To hire a mobility vehicle, you will need proof of identification, which should be either a valid passport, driver’s license or proof of age card. On presentation of these, you’ll be asked to fill out a hire agreement form. Once that’s done, you’re ready to go.

Mobility hire is provided as a complimentary service and is only available for 3 hours per person per day. All mobility vehicles must be returned to the same concierge desk they were hired from one hour before the centre closes. Opening hours can be found here >

Please call the concierge team to book your mobility equipment in advance to guarantee availability.

Disabled parking

We offer free parking to customers that hold a disability permit. Please present your valid disability permit and parking ticket at the concierge desk and a member of our friendly team will validate your ticket.

If you're a frequent shopper, you can register for a disabled parking token. Simply present your valid disability permit at the concierge desk and ask for an application form. Our team will then issue you with a parking token that will allow you to validate your own parking ticket at one of our Concierge Desks.

To find the best parking please contact our concierge team to discuss which of our car parks will best suit your needs on your next visit. We have over 100+ disabled parking bays at convenient locations throughout the centre.

Accessible amenities

All our restrooms have a wheelchair accessible toilet and on Level 1 near Just Jeans and Rockwear, there is an accessible toilet with an adult change-table and transfer board.

Concierge desk

Our friendly Concierge team on Level 1, Level 2 and in Valet are available to help you with directions, store information, lost property, transport, parking information and more.

Quiet Time

Westfield Mt Gravatt aims to create an inclusive environment for all customers and offer a shopping experience where all customers feel welcomed and valued.

Through our Quiet Hour initiative, we look to make a difference to those who face the challenge of shopping in a high sensory environment.

During Quiet Hour, we will dim the lighting and adjust our music to limit sensory over stimulaton. Many of our retailers will also participate by dimming their lights, lowering their music and creating special offers just for Quiet Hour.

Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Scheme

Westfield is a proud participant in the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Scheme which helps to support and raise awareness for people living with a hidden disability.

Under the Hidden Disability Sunflower scheme, our customers with hidden disabilities such as autism, chronic pain, dementia, anxiety, visual or hearing impairment, can choose to wear a lanyard bearing a sunflower logo as a subtle way of letting our centre employees and retailers know that they may require additional support, assistance, or a bit more time when visiting our centres.

The free Sunflower lanyards can be collected from Concierge.
