Announcing your 2024 Westfield Local Hero
We are excited to announce Tracey Clark from Still Aware as your 2024 Westfield Local Hero for Westfield Marion!
Westfield is proud to award a community grant of $20K to help Tracey Clark at Still Aware to continue to grow their impact in the local community.
The 2024 Westfield Local Heroes program will award 125 grants across Australia and New Zealand – totalling $AUD1.24 million to support local communities.
Your 2024 Westfield Marion Local Hero is:
Tracey Clark
Still Aware
Dedicated. Passionate. Empathetic.

Tracey Clark has dedicated the past five years to Still Aware, working tirelessly to end preventable stillbirths in Australia through education and awareness. As the operations and relationships manager, Tracey travels across the country to educate expectant parents on ways to keep their babies safe during pregnancy. Her commitment extends beyond office hours, often engaging with recently bereaved parents to offer comfort and guidance.
"We often find that expectant mothers don't know the real risks of stillbirth and think it just won't happen to them," Tracey explains. "By educating expectant mothers, they have a much higher chance of walking out of hospital with a baby in their hearts and their arms. Sharing Still Aware's safe pregnancy tips has saved lives, and that's what drives me."
Tracey's work has had a profound impact. She frequently receives feedback from parents whose babies' lives were saved due to her efforts. Despite the challenges and personal sacrifices, including time away from her own young children, she continues to strive for a future where no family experiences the loss of a baby due to stillbirth.
Westfield Local Heroes are nominated and voted for by their communities. The finalist with the most community votes is the Westfield Marion Local Hero for 2024, receiving a $20,000 grant for the organisation they represent. Still Aware will use the grant to produce and print a revised stillbirth information booklet, create informative videos and update the Still Aware website.
We'd like to thank and acknowledge our finalists who will receive a $5K grant for the organisation they represent...
