Your new basketball court to take centre stage at Westfield Knox

We are thrilled to announce the addition of a new professional outdoor basketball court, opening in 2023 as part of stage 2 of our $355 million redevelopment. The NBL (National Basketball League) specified full-sized court, now under construction, will be located near the new northern entry and will feature a 90-person grandstand and large-scale scoreboard.

The new basketball court concept was originally sparked as an idea from community feedback, and will become a place the community can gather to watch games or play with friends and family. Partnering with local basketball association, Knox Basketball, the court will also see junior teams use it for training, competition games and clinics during the school holidays.

Our new court is just the beginning of our promise to reimagine lifestyle and community experiences for our customers. Works are well underway on our first and second stages of the development, including internal updates to flooring, ceilings, changes to skylights and finishes throughout as well as upgraded amenities.
