This year, Westfield Knox partnered with eight local schools to celebrate the festive season and decorate their own Christmas Shape to be displayed in centre throughout the Christmas period. From a Christmas tree to reindeer, each shape is unique and tells a story through our community's young artists. Spot them in centre today.

Wantirna South Primary School

Santa’s Workshop – Where all your dreams come true! WaSPS – A place to dream, a place to discover, a place to learn for life!

At Wantirna South Primary School, we run an art club on Thursday lunch time. Students from Prep to Year 6 are welcome to attend. As a collective we came together and decided that the star is a sign of hope and light. We shared ideas and decided that the star helps people to believe and dream. The theme chosen for our design was Santa’s Workshop – a place where dreams are inspired and come to life, just like our school. The elf is named Tinsel and represents the sparkle that is required to support dreams to come alive. We are proud of the collaboration and joy that was shared with all who worked together to create this artwork. We wish everyone a wonderful Christmas, and may your dreams come true.

Regency Park Primary School

At Regency Park Primary School, everyone has something special to share! This year, we proudly present our “Christmas Picture Book” to the Westfield Knox community.

Students from Prep to Grade 6 have worked collaboratively to bring this unique Christmas creation to life. Each student contributed a page, sharing a little about themselves and what Christmas means to them. With creative freedom and oil pastels in hand, our young artists explored bright, vivid colours and imaginative designs to capture the joy of the festive season. These individual artworks come together like the pages of an open book, forming a spectacular 3D Christmas tree that celebrates the creativity, individuality and togetherness of our school community. We invite you to turn the pages and discover the wonderful visual stories our young artists have shared!

Merry Christmas from everyone here at Regency Park Primary School.

Weeden Heights Primary School

We so often see images of Christmas with snowmen, reindeers, stockings by a blazing fireplace and Santa in his fluffy red suit. Here in Australia, though, we celebrate Christmas in summer, often in blazing heat. Students have used mixed media including paper decoupage, Posca paints and natural materials to showcase Australia’s beautiful native flora, and to reflect our hot, Aussie Christmases.

Karoo Primary School

Christmas is a time for coming together, celebrating and sharing the joy of community. Through art, our Karoo students have brought this message to life in a very special Christmas star. One side celebrates our beautiful country, with each state and territory represented through iconic landmarks and festive imagery, designed and painted by our Year 6 students. The other side celebrates our Karoo community, with students, families and staff adding their fingerprints to create a colourful reminder that we all play a part in making our community special. Together, the two sides tell a story of connection, creativity and celebration, bringing our school, community and country together to wish everyone a safe and Merry Christmas.

Holy Trinity Primary School

The Year 6 Arts team at Holy Trinity Primary School decided to put a Christmas twist on the work of Dutch Painter Piet Mondrian. Instead of using only primary colours, black and white, we chose the traditional Christmas colours to decorate the reindeer. In each section the students added small original Christmas artworks.

We had a lot of fun completing our Reindeer and think it looks wonderful.

St Luke's Primary School

This year our Year 5 students at St Luke's Primary School (Wantirna) have explored their favourite Christmas songs and music to inspire their designs for the 2026 Westfield Knox Christmas Shapes. Their collaborative design includes creating unique paper-cut snowflakes, as well as having lots of fun with their acrylic neon 'scrap' painting technique to create their very own painted papers. To finish this year's delightful decorations our Year 5s have added lots of Christmas themed objects using paper clay to make 3D mini Christmas sculptures.
