#HeartHealthMatters is a community-based program that improves heart health awareness, prevention and cardiac emergency preparedness through three pillars: Awareness, Prevention and Response.
Delivered through local sporting clubs and community groups, the program provides heart health checks, education and CPR & AED confidence sessions that empower people to understand their heart health and respond effectively during emergencies.
Community sport is a powerful setting for early intervention, helping us reach people who may not otherwise engage with health services. Since 2016, our work has directly saved 25 lives, demonstrating that awareness leads to action, and action saves lives.
Donation Drive
From 12 June to 20 July, we're inviting our community to support Heartbeat of Sport and help create healthier, safer sporting communities across Australia.
Funds raised will drive more awareness and support vital heart research, education and prevention programs through Heartbeat of Sports #HeartHealthMatters initiative, delivering heart health checks and CPR & AED confidence sessions to local sporting clubs and community groups. Simply put, awareness leads to action, and action saves lives.
Since 2016, Heartbeat of Sport has directly helped save 25 lives and positively impacted countless more through education, screening and emergency preparedness. Every donation made during this campaign helps us continue this life-saving work and reach even more communities in need.
Together, we can make a real difference—because every heartbeat matters.
