Following another remarkable NRLW season, Brisbane Broncos players Jada Ferguson, Lauren Dam and Brianna Clark visited David Jones for a special personal styling session with Westfield Stylist Mia Elizabeth ahead of the Broncos Presentation Ball.

Trading their training gear for event wear, the players explored a range of new Spring/Summer looks, discovered expert styling tips and selected their outfits for the season-ending celebration.

We caught up with them to chat all things fashion, confidence and personal style.

Fans often see you in your Broncos kit. How does Fashion help you express a different side of your personality?

Lauren Dam: Fans often see us as tough and aggressive on the football field, but fashion shows a completely different side of who we are.

Jada Ferguson: Most of my photos are either at football or at the beach because that's my lifestyle. Fashion lets me show a different side of myself and bring out more of my personality.

Brianna Clark: Outside of football, you can lean more into your femininity and express yourself in a different way.

How would you describe your style away from football?

Lauren Dam: Comfortable and casual, with a little bit of dressing up every now and then.

Jada Ferguson: I’m a bit random. I love casual outfits, but I also enjoy dressing up and adding some colour.

Brianna Clark: Very casual. I'm usually in dog-park attire, so comfort is key!

What’s one styling tip our stylist Mia shared today that you’ll take away?

Lauren Dam: I learnt that because I have a rectangle body shape, choosing pieces with more curves can help create shape and fit beautifully.

Jada Ferguson: Because I have a wider foot, Mia suggested opting for block heels over thinner styles.

Brianna Clark: She helped me coordinate my jewellery with my dress and explained how different tones can complement an outfit.

How does fashion express a different side of your personality?

Lauren Dam: People always see us as strong and competitive athletes, but fashion shows there are so many different sides to us. You can be feminine, embrace streetwear or try something completely different depending on how you're feeling.

Are you heels or sneakers?

Brianna Clark: There's only one night a year you’ll catch me wearing heels, and that’s Presentation Night.

Is there a particular outfit that makes you feel your best?

Lauren Dam: Anything comfortable. When I feel comfortable in what I'm wearing, I feel confident too.

Describe your personal style in three words?

Brianna Clark: Simple, neutral and comfortable.
