Auslan Santa photo sessions

Christmas wishes should speak everyone's language.

This year we're proud to continue Auslan Santa, a program offering children who use Auslan as their primary form of communication, the chance to share their Christmas wish list directly with an Auslan-fluent Santa. Developed in collaboration with Deaf Australia, the sessions will be longer and will have helpers and an interpreter on hand to facilitate.

Sensitive Santa photo sessions

Not every elf loves the hustle and bustle. We're here to make sure everyone gets their time with Santa this Christmas with our Sensitive Santa option.

Join us for our Sensitive Santa experience where families can have a photo taken in a relaxed environment, tailored to children with sensory challenges. These calm and comfortable photography sessions take place before stores open when the centre is quieter to create a relaxed and sensory-friendly Santa experience.

Note: Online bookings are essential for Sensitive Santa photography sessions.

Best Parking & Centre Access:
For the safest and easiest access to our Pet Photography sessions, we strongly recommend parking at the front Car Park located on Gympie Rd, located just outside Grill'd where no escalators are required.

Entry Point: Please wait at the entry door near Grill'd until time of your booking and a Scene to Believe team member will take you through to visit Santa.

If you choose to park elsewhere in the centre and need to use an escalator or travelator, please follow the safety guidelines below to keep your pet safe.

Using Escalators or Travelators with Pets:

• Do not place pets directly on escalators or travelators.
Escalator steps, comb plates and moving parts can cause serious injury to animals’ paws, nails and tails.
• Always carry your pet when using an escalator. If your pet is too heavy to carry safely please use lifts instead.
• Keep leads short and controlled.
Retractable leads must be locked at a short length. Long or extended leads can become caught in escalator mechanisms or create a tripping hazard.
• Maintain close supervision at all times.
Your pet must remain beside you, not ahead or behind, while moving through the centre.
• Avoid letting pets walk near escalator entry or exit points.
Always hold your pet securely as you step on and off.

If You Cannot Safely Carry Your Pet
Please use the lift. Lift access is available from all levels and is the safest option for pets who cannot be carried.
