While in-centre, please be sure to observe social distancing and practice good hygiene.
Our trained and friendly concierge staff are happy to help you with directions, retailer information, lost property, transport information and much more. You can find our concierge desk on level 1, located between Portmans and Myer, or near the multi-deck car park.
For mobility-impaired customers we offer complimentary wheelchairs and power shoppers. The wheelchairs and power shoppers are in high demand and are therefore subject to availability. Please contact Concierge on (08) 9458 6344 to book your mobility equipment in advance to guarantee availability.
For your convenience, you will also find disabled parking near the main entrances to the centre, on all levels of our carparks.
The best parking for mobility-impaired customers will depend on the stores you wish to visit.
Changing Places facility
Westfield Carousel offers a Changing Places facility near the Valet desk.
What is Changing Places?
Our Changing Places facility offers a full sized change table and hoist to meet the needs of people with severe and profound disabilities. With over 1.3 million Australian's having a profound or severe core limitation, the lack of toilet facilities available to them is a major social barrier preventing families and individuals from enjoying basic day to day activities, like visiting Westfield Carousel.
Our Changing Places facility includes:
- A height adjustable adult sized changing bench
- A constant charging ceiling track hoist system
- A centrally located peninsula toilet
- Automatic door with a clear opening of 950mm
Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Scheme
Westfield is a proud participant in the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Scheme which helps to support and raise awareness for people living with a hidden disability.
Under the Hidden Disability Sunflower scheme, our customers with hidden disabilities such as autism, chronic pain, dementia, anxiety, visual or hearing impairment, can choose to wear a lanyard bearing a sunflower logo as a subtle way of letting our centre employees and retailers know that they may require additional support, assistance, or a bit more time when visiting our centres.
The free Sunflower lanyards can be collected from the Concierge Desk located on level 1, near Myer & Portmans.
