Owner Naeem Butt, who boasts nearly 40 years of experience in the shoe repair industry, first opened his doors in a small store in Gordon in 1993. 11 Years later, Butt Shoe Repairs on Level 5 opened in what was the final opening stage of the Westfield Bondi development.

Naeem's philosophy is simple: every repair is a new opportunity to learn and grow. "I want to continue to do the best I can and deliver as good a service as possible," he says. His commitment to problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail ensures that every item—whether it's a pair of $2,000 shoes or a $10,000 bag—is treated with the utmost care and respect.

Beyond shoe repairs, Butt Shoe Repairs has gained a reputation for its jewellery engraving services. Customers frequently bring in rings from Midas Jewellers or gifts from Peters of Kensington, entrusting Naeem with their cherished items for thoughtful personalization.

Naeem’s dedication is evident in his investment in the latest technology, which helps him achieve the best possible results. Despite the demanding nature of his work—Naeem has never had a Saturday off—his passion remains unwavering. “It’s definitely a labour of love,” he reflects.
