Unveiling our vision for Westfield Bondi’s next evolution

We’re excited to share a first look at the next evolution of Westfield Bondi, including our $240 million investment to transform Level 6 into a world-leading lifestyle, entertainment and dining destination for our customers.
Following the recent opening of Virgin Active and rebel rCX store on Level 1, works are progressing well on the next phase of the centre’s redevelopment.
A new destination, above it all
Set against panoramic views of Sydney Harbour, Level 6 will become a 13,300sqm destination designed for how you want to spend your time. The Level 6 lifestyle, entertainment and dining precinct will be anchored by an upgraded Event Cinemas, featuring an elevated Gold Class lounge and Boutique auditorium, alongside a new Kingpin experience and several new premium dining experiences, to be announced.
The precinct will also feature modern cafes and an activation space for events, including live music and family entertainment.
Designed for you
The precinct’s innovative, architectural design will feature curved ceilings, seating facing a glazed facade to capture the harbour views and a grand skylight to create an abundance of natural light throughout the centre.
A new, elevated Valet experience on Level P4 will connect directly to the precinct, and you’ll also start to notice changes on Level 5, introducing a new food offering and ambience upgrades, including new furnishings and finishes.
More to discover at Westfield Bondi
Westfield Bondi continues to welcome new brands and experiences. Recent openings include luxury fashion house, CELINE, as well as a first-to-market Princess Polly store and Luxury Escapes’ first NSW store. International art toy brand, POP MART, opened last month.
Still to come, globally-renowned luxury fashion and lifestyle brand, ALO, will open its Sydney flagship. The 700 sqm store spanning two levels will showcase the brand’s full range of women, men and unisex styles.
Swiss running brand, ON, will also open a flagship store at the centre, its first in NSW.
Customers will continue to notice changes happening throughout the centre as works continue. We will have navigational signage in place to assist with directions and additional team members on hand to support.

Is EVENT Cinemas Closed?
Yes, Event Cinemas is temporarily closed for a major refurbishment and will re-open by the end of 2026. Visit westfield.com.au/bondijunction to stay up to date with our development news.
Is EVENT Cinemas re-opening?
Yes, Event Cinemas will reopen by the end of 2026 with a reimagined cinema experience, introducing featuring an elevated Gold Class lounge, Boutique auditorium, Screen X, VMax and worldclass Marketplace.
How do I get to Level 5?
Level 5 is accessible via the escalators near the tower 2 doors.
The customer lifts are temporarily unavailable to accommodate works.
If you require lift access, please use the lifts near TK Maxx. Access via the R1 Aqua car park
How do I get to Tower 1 & Tower 2?
Tower 1 can be accessed via the lift lobby on Oxford Street and lifts in the P4 carpark near Valet. Tower 2 can be accessed via the lift lobby on Grafton Street and the lifts in P4 carpark near Valet.
How do I get to Goodstart Early Learning Centre?
Please take the escalators from Level 5 up to Level 6. If you require lift access, please use the lifts from Tower 1 lift lobby on Oxford Street.
Access to Level 6 is available from the R1 car park across the Oxford Street bridge, via Oxford Street lift lobby in Tower 1 and the escalators from Level 5 up to Level 6 at the Western end of the centre.
Update on access to R2 Carpark
Access to R2 parking will be limited during this stage of the development, while R1, R3, and R4 will continue to be accessible via Hollywood Avenue. This still remains best parking for Level 6 access.
