Bev Woolhouse

The Pantry WA

Understanding. Selfless. Determined.

Bev Woolhouse helps ensure people experiencing hardship can access food, hope and dignity through The Pantry WA. As CEO, she leads a team that provides meals and nourishment to 60,000 people each year, supporting families, schools and community groups while creating a place where people feel valued, respected and cared for.

If Bev is successful, the grant will fund a jack for lifting pallets, floor matting, cooling for the working space and new tables to make The Pantry WA safer and more comfortable for its volunteer team.

Chris Line

Story Dogs

Caring. Supportive. Dependable.

For eight years, Story Dogs volunteer Chris has helped children discover the joy of reading by giving them the chance to read with a friendly dog by their side. As a coordinator, she supports volunteers locally and across Australia, helping more children build confidence, develop a love of reading and become lifelong readers.

If Chris is successful, the grant will be used to recruit, train and upskill five new volunteer coordinators, as well as funding starter kits for new dog teams.

Vicky Young

Dandelions WA

Compassionate. Committed. Inspiring.

Through Dandelions WA's Back to School campaign, Vicky Young helps ensure disadvantaged children can start school with confidence, dignity and the supplies they need to learn. She has grown the initiative into a statewide program, driven by her belief that every child deserves the chance to learn and feel equal.

If Vicky is successful, the grant will fund fully equipped backpacks for students in need, each containing stationery, lunchboxes, drink bottles and basic hygiene supplies.
