Red Tree Foundation: A SIDS and Kids SA intiative

Kat supports grieving parents in Hindmarsh, thanks to her work with the Red Tree Foundation. Through peer
programs, support groups, and fundraising, Kat helps hundreds of families access vital services and navigate their bereavement. She is motivated by her own lived experience of loss, and the support she received that
helped her healing.

Port Adelaide District Baseball Club (Miracle League of Port Adelaide)

Lyndelle brought Australia’s first Miracle League program to Port Adelaide, enabling children with disabilities to play baseball using adaptive equipment and a buddy system. Overcoming significant hurdles to start the US-based program, she now fosters inclusion in the sport for more than 30 children, while inspiring teen volunteers and raising awareness in the community.

Jodi Lee Foundation

Kellie Finlayson was diagnosed with bowel cancer shortly after the birth of her daughter. Despite
having a terminal diagnosis, she is now a passionate advocate for young onset bowel cancer and volunteers as an ambassador for the Jodi Lee Foundation to raise awareness for the prevention and early detection of the disease.

Grange Surf Life Saving Club Inc

Hannah Darling is a dedicated community volunteer and chief instructor at Grange Surf Life Saving Club. She mentors 22 clubs in South Australia, leading initiatives in youth development and high-performance educational leadership. Hannah has spent over 1,000 hours patrolling beaches, ensuring the safety of our community.

Community Help and Togetherness Inc

Rose Darling is dedicating her retirement to helping the less fortunate. As founder of Community Help and Togetherness Inc. she supports people experiencing homelessness, financial distress or social isolation. Rose leads a team of 30 volunteers helping over 200 people, providing a weekly breakfast, and essential items, distributing bread to schools and supporting a local hostel.

The Adelaide Jaguars Womens Soccer Club

Bronny Brooks volunteers long hours to create a friendly and inclusive environment for women and girls to experience the joy of football. Bronny is the Chairperson of the Adelaide Jaguars WFC, where she ensures players can experience the physical, mental and social benefits of playing sport.

Young Blood Men’s Mental Health

Callum MacPherson has responded to the grief of his friend’s death from severe depression by launching the Young Blood Men's Mental Health video podcast. He has professionally produced 25 episodes on a volunteer basis, uplifting guests who encourage men to feel connected and understand that their mental health struggles are nothing to be ashamed of.

Villagehood Australia

Dinah Thomasset is the founder and CEO of Villagehood Australia, where she works tirelessly to bring mothers together for programs that improve their mental health and wellbeing. Dinah has created a peer-support community where experienced mums guide new mothers and experts are available to help instil a sense of confidence.
