Get ready to go from local tracks to the world stage as Timezone hosts the Australian qualifying rounds for the international Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune Tournament.

Put your racing skills to the test, connect with fellow racers and compete for your chance to progress through the tournament. Simply visit a participating Timezone on contest day to register and race your way to the next round!

The top two racers from each participating venue will advance to the Regional Tournament, where they’ll compete for the chance to represent Australia. The Australian winner will receive an exclusive trip to Japan to compete against some of the best Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune racers from across the Asia-Pacific!

Tournament Details

• Preliminary Contest: Friday, 16 October 2026
• Registration & Game Practice: 6pm
• Contest Time: 7pm
• Entrants: Minimum 16 and maximum 32 players per venue. If registrations exceed 32 entrants, participants will be selected by lottery.
• Entry Fee: FREE

How to Participate

1. Own a Timezone Powercard and Bandai Namco Passport or Amusement IC card.
2. Visit a participating Timezone on Friday, 16 October 2026 to register and compete in the Preliminary Contest.
3. The top two racers from each venue will advance to the Regional Tournament on Friday, 23 October 2026.
4. Entrants must be 16 years or older to participate.
