Join us for a NAIDOC Week Cultural Ceremony
As part of Westfield Tea Tree Plaza's NAIDOC Week celebrations, we are honoured to welcome Robert Taylor to lead a Welcome to Country, traditional Didgeridoo Performance and Smoking Ceremony.
Date: 10 July 2026
Time: From 05:00PM
Location: Dining Hub, Level 1, near HOYTS
Robert Taylor will begin the event with a Welcome to Country, acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the land and sharing the importance of culture, connection and respect for Country. Attendees will then experience the rich sounds of the didgeridoo, one of the world's oldest living musical traditions, offering a unique insight into Aboriginal culture and storytelling.
The event will conclude with a traditional Smoking Ceremony, a significant cultural practice that uses the smoke from native plants for cleansing, healing and renewal. Participants will be invited to respectfully observe and take part in this meaningful ceremony, which symbolises unity, wellbeing and a shared commitment to reconciliation.
We look forward to welcoming everyone to this culturally significant event and thank Robert Taylor for sharing his knowledge, traditions and culture as part of our NAIDOC Week celebrations.
