in the lives of local youth, women, and families.

Mayor has dedicated nearly 20 years to mentoring youth through inclusive sports programs in Western Sydney.He nurtures both academic and athletic growth, instils a sense of purpose and teaches his young sport stars real life skills. Mayor also advocates for young people and creates
pathways for them to sporting bodies and scholarships.

The Street University Mt Druitt

Laura Ranola is the dedicated manager at the Ted Noffs Foundation’s Street University, Mount Druitt. She supports disadvantaged youth by providing a safe place to connect, seek guidance and learn. Under her leadership, the centre offers workshops on music, dance, coding and more,
ensuring comprehensive support for youth aged 12-25.

Carevan Blacktown

Andrew Scott, CEO of Carevan Blacktown, has dedicated the past 13 years to supporting vulnerable people. Despite having a full-time job, Andrew provides meals, groceries,clothing and hygiene products to over 250 people weekly.He creates an inclusive community service, offering vital
support and fostering a sense of belonging.

One Meal - It Makes A Difference

Inspirational Joanne Oliver volunteers many hours to provide up to 60
people with a weekly meal and a safe place to connect with others. Joanne is the Blacktown Area
Coordinator for One Meal – It Makes a Difference and hosts a community meal at Alpha Park every Saturday. She leads by example and is the first to arrive and the last to leave.

Foodbank NSW & ACT Limited

Super volunteer Margaret Kelly works four days a week at Foodbank NSW & ACT Glendenning, saving the charity tens of thousands of dollars in wages over the past five years. As the first point of contact for donors, Margaret helps the charity collect and distribute enough food for half a million meals a week.

Empathetic Simone Angus-Carr helps hundreds of young people make positive life changes as the Western Sydney Programs Manager for Ted Noffs – The Street University. Simone is perfect for the role. She has 20 years of experience working with addiction, and the young people respect and adore her.
