Autumn styling for all occasions in Seed, by stylist Kate Kohler.
Seed Heritage, Level 2

Maximum comfort and effortlessly elevated at Seed, with stylist Kate Kohler
How do I create a capsule wardrobe? How do I layer for Autumn/Winter? How do I bring colour into my wardrobe at this time of year? If you’ve found yourself asking the same things, trust me, you are not alone.
Words, photos and styling by Westfield Kotara stylist, Kate Kohler.
Seed are not only serving some of my favourite Winter hues, they have always been at the forefront of capsule styling for women on the go who prioritise comfort but want to feel put together, without the fuss… I can see so many of you nodding while reading this.
One of the top requests I receive at this time of year is a pant that isn’t denim and, let me tell you, the Pleat Front Palazzo Pant is a dream. Similar to the high-waist linen style Seed have in Summer, this pant is a little more voluminous but still features that glorious high waistline. For a warmer top option that isn’t long-sleeved, the Brushed Wool Vest in Soft Blue Marle is a fresh, monochromatic piece that’s going to pair beautifully with the Minimalist Coat (80% wool, 20% polyester).

Shake up this look with the Denim Cropped Shirt, something I like to show clients as the new denim jacket because it looks sensational as a shirt. This cropped style is ideal for elongating the legs, feels edgy and can double as an outerwear piece.

Let’s talk maximum comfort, easy care and effortless elevation. The Textured Satin Straight Leg Pant will simplify getting ready each morning because it ticks all three boxes. Styled with the Australian Merino (we love that!) V-Neck Top and Stripe Cotton Oversized Shirt, this look is your off-duty, midweek soccer practice or early Saturday morning dance lesson drop-off inspo.

I love a hidden date-night gem at Seed and the Satin Draped Column Dress is waiting for your next night out. Cut on the bias, this dress will melt over the body and allow you to style it with knee-high boots in the middle of Winter, opt for a timeless slingback for a more formal occasion, or look fabulous with a strappy pair of heels in Spring. I highly encourage a glam moment with the Minimalist Coat — these pieces were made for each other. Feeling bold? Try styling your belt around the coat when you know you’re locked in for the night. Rarely done but looks incredible when done well.
