We'll also be improving your parking experience by introducing licence plate recognition technology. This will mean there will be no paper tickets for faster, easier entry and exit, to get you out of the car and into centre to do what you came for.

How does ticketless parking work?

You will no longer stop at the entry to collect a paper ticket, as we’ll use licence plate recognition technology to record your time of entry.

With Westfield membership, members have the added benefit of skipping the queue by adding their payment information directly into the app, proceeding straight to the exit and the boom gate will open automatically. For non-members or members who prefer to pay in person, head to one of our many pay stations, enter your number plate and pay the parking fee.

Do Westfield members get parking benefits?

From Tuesday 5th October 2021, Westfield members can enjoy up to two hours free parking on the weekend and discounted rates during the week. Members can also check their parking time and set a 30-minute reminder on weekends.

Can I receive 2 hours free parking more than once over the weekend?

Yes, but if you want to return on the same day, there must be a 60-minute gap between exit and re-entry to qualify for another free parking period.

How do I manage my parking profile? 

You can manage your parking profile in the Westfield app, where you can update your vehicle details and access member benefits.

I’m a permanent parker, are there any changes for me? 

As there will be no longer be permanent parking cards, all permanent parkers will need to sign up for Westfield membership to access permanent parking rates. This will be linked to your number plate, which can be managed in the Westfield app.

Our car park opening and closing hours vary depending on the specific car park.

Moorabool Street:

• Monday to Thursday: Opens at 5:40am and closes 8:30pm
• Friday: Opens at 5:40am and closes at 10:00pm
• Saturday and Sunday: Opens at 5:40am and closes at 8:30pm

Yarra Street:

• Monday to Thursday: Opens at 6:20am and closes 6:30pm
• Friday: Opens at 6:20am and closes at 9:30pm
• Saturday: Opens at 6:20am and closes 6:30pm
• Sunday Public Holidays: Opens at 7:30am and closes at 6:00pm

Brougham Street:

We’ve identified an opportunity to streamline parking with us at Westfield Geelong. Our system means less congestion, easier entry and exits, and an overall more efficient parking experience when visiting us.

To keep children safe in our carparks, we have designated parents parking located at our Moorabool Street, Brougham Street and Malop Street carparks.

Where can a taxi drop me off?

Convenient drop off points are located at the Taxi ranks in front of all entrances.

Do the car parks fill up quickly?

Plan your trip in advance for a swift journey. Parking can fill up very quickly so it's best to be prepared.

How do I access the rooftop parking?

Rooftop parking is available at Westfield Geelong. For access, enter off Yarra Street, Malop Street of Moorabool Street.

Carpark Terms and Conditions

1. Persons entering and using the carpark are bound by the conditions displayed on this ticket, at the entrance to and throughout this carpark.
2. If you do not accept these conditions you should immediately leave the carpark. You may let the carpark attendant know that you want to leave and proceed directly to the nearest exit where you may leave without charge providing you do not delay.
3. Parking fees may be charged in accordance with the schedule of fees displayed in this carpark.
4. We are not liable for, and you indemnify us against any claim, cost, expense, liability, loss, damage, claim or proceeding we incur in relation to loss or damage whatsoever to any vehicle, its accessories, contents or other property or for the death or injury to any person arising out of or in connection with your use of the carpark, except to the extent that any liability is caused or contributed to by our negligence or breach of these terms and conditions.
5. The loss of this ticket will incur the maximum daily charge.
6. Parking guidance and number plate recognition cameras: When you use our car park we capture your number plate and vehicle information through number plate recognition cameras and parking guidance systems for the purposes of providing parking services. The information we collect assists Westfield to manage and improve the operation of the Centre including the car park area. We use this information for measuring and analysing car parking dwell times and shopper behaviour, marketing purposes, determining parking fees, security purposes and to assist you to locate available car spaces and your car. By entering the car park, you consent to Westfield collecting and using this information. If you do not provide Westfield with this information, Westfield may refuse to grant you entry into the car park. Westfield will keep this information secure and treat this information in accordance with Westfield’s privacy policy, which can be found at www.westfield.com.au/privacy-policy or on request from any Westfield Concierge. Our privacy policy contains information about how you can access and correct your personal information held by us, and how you can make a complaint regarding use of your information.

By entering this car park you agree to be bound by these conditions. If you do not accept these conditions you must immediately proceed to the nearest exit and leave the car park. We make no express warranties in relation to the services we provide. Under the Australian Consumer Law, consumers have certain rights which cannot be excluded, including guarantees as to the fitness for purpose of services. Nothing in these conditions of entry shall be read or applied so as to exclude, restrict or modify or have the effect of excluding, restricting or modifying any condition, warranty, guarantee, right or remedy implied by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, and which by law cannot be excluded, restricted or modified.

1. Limitation or liability and indemnity:

You enter and use the car park at your own risk. Subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, we are not liable for and you indemnify us against any cost, expense, liability, loss, damage, claim or proceeding (whether direct or indirect, howsoever arising) we incur in relation to: personal injury to or death suffered by you or any person; or theft, loss of, destruction or damage to, any vehicle, its parts or accessories, any property on or in a vehicle or elsewhere in the car park or any damage to the car park, arising out of, or in any way relating to the use of the car park by you or any person in your company, except to the extent that any liability is caused or contributed to by our negligence or breach of these conditions by us.

2. Usage restrictions:

You must not distribute handbills or pamphlets, engage in any commercial activities or use skate boards, scooters or roller blades without our authorisation. You must not bring or leave in this car park any offensive, hazardous or dangerous substance or thing, nor anything which may be or become a danger, nuisance or inconvenience to us or to any person lawfully in or about this car park or Centre. If you do so you shall be trespassing.

3. Fee:

Parking fees will be charged in accordance with the schedule or fees displayed in this car park. If you bring your vehicle into this car park you agree to pay the parking fee as set by us from time to time. We may prevent the exit of a vehicle from this car park until we are satisfied that any fee is paid and we will not be liable to you for doing so except to the extent that any liability is caused or contributed to by our negligence.

4. Compliance with signs, directions, hours or operation:

You must, whilst in the car park, comply with all its signs and with all directions and requests made by us. In particular, you must:

• not cause any obstruction in this car park;
• not park anywhere that we designate as a no parking or reserved area unless you are authorised by us to park in those areas;
• not use the car park other than in accordance with the signage and markings in the car park and any instructions we may give you;
• not use parking bays set aside for mobility impaired and/or disabled persons unless you are lawfully entitled to use these bays and you display clearly on the vehicle a current permit; and
• gain access to or remove a vehicle only during the hours we display in the car park.

5. Exit of vehicles:

We may permit the exit of a vehicle whether a ticket is produced or not, or whether evidence of authority or entitlement to remove a vehicle is produced or not. We are not liable for the theft, loss of or damage to a vehicle or delivery of your vehicle to any person who did not have authority to use or take your vehicle, except to the extent that any liability is caused or contributed to by our negligence.

6. Valet parking:

We may at any time move or drive any vehicle left for parking in designated valet car spaces. We may deliver a vehicle to any person who produces a ticket or provides evidence of authority or entitlement to remove a vehicle. We may retain a vehicle until we are provided with a valid ticket, proof of payment, or evidence of ownership or entitlement to receive the vehicle which is satisfactory to us. We do not promise or represent that a vehicle will be delivered earlier than the time agreed when we accept it for parking. We are not liable for the theft, loss of or damage to a vehicle or delivery of your vehicle to any person who did not have authority to use or take your vehicle, except to the extent that any liability is caused or contributed to by our negligence.

7. Our rights in respect of your vehicle:

We may deny you access to the car park or your vehicle, or may enter, move, drive or park any vehicle by towing or otherwise, at any time if required by law or reasonably necessary for the safe operation or the car park. We also have the right to prevent exit of a vehicle until we are provided with a valid parking ticket or evidence of ownership or entitlement to receive the vehicle satisfactory to us. In the event that a vehicle is left on our premises for a continuous period in excess of 24 hours then we may move the vehicle by towing or otherwise at your expense.

9. Interpretation

“any person in your company” means any person who comes into the car park with you or in your vehicle or who was brought or sent into the car park by you. “car park” means all the property constituting the car park including any entry and exit ramps, loading docks, driveways and elevators and stairways servicing the car park. “us” or “we” means each of the owner(s) of the Centre and any manager of the Centre from time to time, and their related bodies corporate, employees, agents and subcontractors. “you” and “your” refers to and includes each person who enters the car park in any manner and any owner of a vehicle which enters the car park.

If you are a Westfield member, please refer to the Westfield membership terms and conditions as they relate to any parking services, including ticketless parking, and associated Member Service Benefits (as defined in the terms and conditions).
