Barako Dirty Ice Cream

Barako Dirty Ice cream is a traditional Asian style Ice cream recipe originating from the Phillipines and uniquely characterized by the use of coconut cream and cows milk. Barako Dirty Ice cream is locally handcrafted here in Perth, Western Australia.

So why is it called Dirty Ice cream?
In the Phillipines it is sold on the streets by the Mamang Sorbertero ( Ice cream Man), in a bright colourful 2 wheeled ice cream cart. He rang a bell to attract his customers similar to our 'MrWhippy' here in Australia. Some say the name 'dirty' was spread by mothers trying to scare their kids away from eating the best tasting ice cream in the world, but it didnt stop them either way (side note: our Ice cream is perfectly sanitary). So now you know its not dirty, it is delicious! Come and try the taste.

We also have Halo Halo (Filipino shaved ice dessert), Ice cream Donuts, Mochi Waffles and Shakes.
