Westfield Carousel provides a safe environment for walkers to stay active, no matter the weather—rain, hail, or shine. For those new to physical activity or recovering from health issues, the smooth surface with no obstacles offers a comfortable space to walk at their own pace. There are plenty of amenities and seating throughout the mall, allowing walkers to rest whenever needed.

Westfield Walker Janet shares, "The program has created a real sense of community. We all connect with one another. A lot of us come for the coffee and a chat, but we do enjoy a little walk. It’s a great community, and many of us are meeting tomorrow for a Christmas lunch."

Westfield Walker Day Day adds, "It’s a very informal program. Each person has their own space, pace, and the number of laps they want to do."

The Westfield Walkers group meets at Jamaica Blue, located outside Target, and walks laps around the shopping centre every Monday morning at 8:30 AM.
