In 1976, our centre opened its doors for the very first time, a humble beginning that grew into something truly special.

For 50 years, Westfield Airport West has been more than a shopping centre — it’s been a place where our community has grown up together.

From families who settled here to work at Essendon Airport, to retailers who’ve served generations of locals, to team members who’ve built lifelong careers within these walls — our story is deeply connected to the people of Airport West and surrounding suburbs.

From March 27–29, we had the pleasure of celebrating Airport West’s incredible 50-year milestone. It was a weekend filled with excitement, from generous giveaways and live entertainment to memorable moments shared with our community.
