Little Kids Workshop at Westfield Airport West
Join us for a fun-filled Little Kids Workshop where creativity meets culture! Kids will decorate their own delicious doughnuts, roll up their sleeves for a hands-on sushi-making experience, and participate in a special NAIDOC Week activity with Essendon FC. With plenty of opportunities to create, learn and explore, these activities are perfect for curious minds and adventurous little foodies.

Get creative and decorate your very own delicious doughnuts! Kids can unleash their imagination with a variety of colourful toppings, sprinkles and sweet treats while enjoying a fun, hands-on school holiday activity.

Marngrook Kids with Essendon Football Club and The Long Walk
Thursday, 2 July | 10:00 - 1:00pm
Families are invited to take part in a unique and engaging school holiday experience as The Long Walk and the Essendon Football Club present Marngrook Kids at Westfield Airport West.
Held during the school holidays and in the lead-up to NAIDOC Week 2026, the free event will give children and families the opportunity to explore Indigenous culture, storytelling and creativity through the lens of sport.
The interactive session will feature a range of hands-on activities designed to inspire learning, curiosity and cultural connection. Participants will explore the stories behind Essendon's iconic Dreamtime guernseys through arts and crafts activities, while learning how storytelling continues to play an important role in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
Plus families will have the opportunity to get their photo taken with Essendon Bombers mascot Skeeta, and win free tickets to a Bombers home game!

Sushi Making with Sushi Hub
Friday, 3 July | 10:00 - 3:00pm
Kids will enjoy learning the fundamentals of sushi making with the experienced sushi chefs from Sushi Hub. Kids will create their own rolls using the tools and fresh ingredients, including seaweed, sushi rice, cucumber, chicken and more!
Make sure you come with an empty stomach, as you will enjoy the sushi you've made!
