The 12RND workout replicates the physical demands of a 12 round championship bout; there are 12 x 3 minute rounds with 30 seconds rest between. Each workout is completed in under 45 minutes which is the optimal duration for high-intensity training, maintaining the right balance between effort and results.

Describe the facilities: "The facility is super clean, good quality equipment and it’s very spacious considering there is 12 points of activity in the room.

What are the trainers like?: "The trainers are absolute legends! Very experienced and knowledgeable but also approachable for someone like me who doesn’t have heaps of boxing experience. They were very clear and concise about the main elements of boxing that I needed to carry throughout the training and made sure everyone in the room was supported all the way through."

Overall, how did you find the session: "I worked up a sweat! It was great and I loved the timings and variety that 12 rnd offers. It was a really fun activity to do with my partner - he was there with me on the circuits but we also had space in the activities to not be focusing on each other."

How did you feel after the session: "My hands and wrists were SHAKING! Couldn’t lift a fork to cut my lunch or my teacup off the saucer haha! I felt really good though – a very solid workout that I knew worked my whole body."

Can the gym be easily accessed via the carpark: "We parked up the top just near the facility so that when we finished we had the freedom to hop straight back in the car. Post workout instead we decided to go and have a well-deserved lunch at Flower Child and run a few errands with the burst of energy the workout gave us."

If you could pick one highlight, what would it be: "I loved learning all of the boxing techniques – I’ve never been taught properly so sometimes my wrists and neck would hurt a lot."
