Aniese Ismail

Street Industries

Fearless. Motivated. Empowering.

By sharing her own journey from social housing to semi-professional soccer, Aniese has become a role model for young women in Liverpool. Through her work with Street Industries she helps young people break down barriers to sport, while using her experience to guide teenagers through societal challenges and towards better futures.

If Aniese is successful, the grant will help launch a youth-led initiative – including workshops, mentoring and soccer events - inspired by her passion for using sport as a vehicle for change.

Antoinette Sulfaro

Ladies Like To Lunch

Compassionate. Driven. Purposeful.

From oncology Pilates, to mindfulness, care packages and the provision of wigs and accessories, Antoinette Sulfaro does everything she can to support women and their families navigating cancer treatment and recovery. Her not-for-profit – Ladies Like to Lunch – offers practical and emotional support for patients across Liverpool and wider South Western Sydney.

If Antoinette is successful, the funds will allow 1200 more women to access their WarriorHER programs: The Mindset Movement, Oncology Pilates, Art Therapy, and the Wig Program.

Katie Dokmanovic

Road Trauma Support Group NSW

Selfless. Courageous. Inspiring.

Since her son died in a high-speed car crash, Katie has spoken to thousands of young people about road safety and the choices they make behind the wheel. Through the Road Trauma Support Group NSW, she delivers powerful educational talks to schools, turning statistics into a human story. She also provides peer support for grieving families.

If Katie is successful, the grant will help Road Trauma Support Group NSW will expand her youth road safety education program, using the funds for travel to venues, development of resources and counselling support.
