Announcing your 2024 Westfield Local Hero
We are excited to announce Antoinette from Ladies Like To Lunch as your 2024 Westfield Local Hero for Liverpool!
Westfield is proud to award a community grant of $20K to help Antoinette at Ladies Like To Lunch to continue to grow their impact in the local community.
The 2024 Westfield Local Heroes program will award 125 grants across Australia and New Zealand – totalling $AUD1.24 million to support local communities.
Your 2024 Westfield Liverpool Local Hero is:
Antoinette Sulfaro
Ladies Like To Lunch
Caring. Dedicated. Inspiring.

As a director of Ladies Like to Lunch, Antoinette Sulfaro is dedicated to supporting women with cancer in our community.
As part of her role, she launched a care package initiative distributed directly to the Liverpool Wellness Centre and contains products that help ease the most common side effects of cancer treatment.
Antoinette alongside her team organises events that bring women together to share their experiences with cancer and support each other. She also plans the annual Pink Ribbon Luncheon to raise vital funds for cancer support services at the Liverpool Cancer Therapy Centre.
Since 2019, Antoinette has raised almost $118,000. She was also the top fundraiser at the 2023 Cancer Council NSW Stars - Dance for Cancer South West Sydney, raising $13,747. This year, Antoinette was honoured as the Leppington Local Woman of the Year 2024 and was also honoured with a Werriwa Volunteer Award 2024.
Antoinette is motivated by her own experience with cancer. "Caring for my community has been part of my healing journey after the loss of my sister-in-law to GBM brain cancer, she says. "It's a way for me to honour her memory and make a positive impact in the lives of others." Antoinette's commitment to her community helps roughly 1,500 women every year.
Westfield Local Heroes are nominated and voted for by their communities. The finalist with the most community votes is the Westfield Liverpool Local Hero for 2024, receiving a $20,000 grant for the organisation they represent. Ladies Like to Lunch will use the grant to enhance the Care Package Program provided to women with cancer in our community. Additionally, they will help the Liverpool Wellness Centre increase services like acupuncture and oncology massage.
We'd like to thank and acknowledge our finalists who will receive a $5K grant for the organisation they represent...
