1. The Glam Metallics Trend

A celebration of all that glitters. Soft, shimmering fabrics are paired with edgy hardware and embellishments to create contrasting layers of texture, grit, and shine. "Metallics, sequins, and fringing are your must-have textures! Don't be afraid to inject a little sparkle into your makeup, too. This trend is all about the colour." says Walford. There is no place for subtlety here. While party and occasionwear will naturally take prominence, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with injecting a bit of glitz and glam for the everyday too. If you’ve worked up the courage to wear a bold shade, such as this blue iceberg number which features a fine metallic knit paired with trousers in the same shade, try going monochrome for sophisticated, high impact look.

2. The Urban Oasis Trend

Taking cues from the culture of today, Urban Oasis is about individual expression and personality - an Aussie take on the effortlessness and confidence of the ‘French cool girl’. "Inspired by street style, elevate your look with must-have footwear, statement coats and this season's it-bag! With a spotlight on denim, use your accessories to take your look from day to night." says Walford. Denim, in laid back cuts, is the hero of a trend that is all about not trying too hard. Pair denim with more denim or work in your denim classics, such as this dark wash denim skirt, with other cosy weather must-haves like a crisp button-down shirt and an oversized shearling jacket.

4. The 90's Minimalism Trend

An elevated nod to 90’s fashion. Form is king, as colour and print take a back seat. "A trend focused on the 'less is more' approach which is best achieved with tonal layering. There has never been a better time to invest in timeless wardrobe staples that will last you beyond the season ahead. Think oversized suiting, waistcoats, tonal co-ords and crisp shirts." says Walford. The 90's Minimalism trend is all about subtle detail. Focus on clever layering to create interest, such as on this dark look or work in contrasting textures like this chunky leather weave bag offset against this sleek white suit. Keep accessories also to a minimum to avoid taking away from a clean silhouette, instead go for dainty fine jewellery for a hint of glint or if you really can’t go without something extra, shoes are a great way to feature a touch of colour or print.
