Westfield and Lifeline Australia

We are proud and excited to welcome another year of our national partnership with Lifeline Australia.

Westfield recognises the significant contribution that Lifeline Australia has made to our communities by supporting people through their toughest times for the past 60 years.

After working together for many years, Westfield and Lifeline Australia formalised their partnership in 2023 to work even more closely together to help keep our communities safe. This partnership includes Westfield’s support for the new crisis call centre in Westfield Bondi Junction, marketing campaigns for the hotline and fundraising appeals. In addition, Westfield Centres across Australia have customer donation terminals at their Concierge Desks to enable customers an easy way to donate to Lifeline Australia and other charities throughout the year.

Lifeline was founded in Sydney in March 1963 by Rev Dr Sir Alan Walker, who was determined not to let isolation and lack of support impact people’s lives to the point where they lost hope. He later launched what was to become Lifeline’s 24/7 telephone crisis line, 13 14 14.

“Lifeline is supporting more Australians than ever before – we’ve never been needed more, and we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without the incredible support of our Members, funders, volunteers and staff all around the country,” said Lifeline Chair Jacinta Munro.

Please visit the Concierge desk for more information.

And if you, or someone you know are feeling overwhelmed, we encourage you to connect with Lifeline in the way you feel most comfortable.

Everyday Lifeline supports Australians who find themselves overwhelmed through their call centres, live chats and texting service. Lifeline has recently added to their available services with a suite of Self Support Toolkits.

You can also phone Lifeline to speak to a Crisis Supporter on 13 11 14 (24 /7), text 0477 131 114 (24/7) or chat to Lifeline online at www.lifeline.org.au (24/7).
