Sand Safari Arts Festival

We are proud to have partnered with Surfers Paradise Alliance to be part of the 2019 Sand Safari Arts Festival.
International and local artists are showcased in this award-winning festival. Through arts, literature and education, the 2019 theme for Sand Safari highlights the importance of one of life’s real treasures – friendship!
Follow the Soldier Crab migration from the golden sands of Surfers Paradise Beach all the way to Westfield Coomera and see renowned artist Clayton Blake masterpiece. The artwork pays tribute to the Yugambeh people and the Soldier Crabs titled "Jubei" meaning "crab" acknowledges the Yugambeh people and language, recognising the strong connection we have with the ocean and the Gold Coast's rich Indigenous history.
Find the Sculpture on display in the Dining Precinct between The Bavarian and Beach House Bar & Grill from 4 - 24 February.
