New name, same friendly community

Our weekly kids' playgroup, Play & Explore, is back for 2025!

Formerly known as Loose Parts Playgroup, Play & Explore is designed for kids aged 0-5 years, to help develop their physical health, creativity, communication skills, and emotional developments through engaging activities and play.

Run by Capital Region Community Services, Play & Explore is a great early learning and play opportunity for Canberra kids. Throughout the year, kids will engage in various activities with a different theme each month, while parents have an opportunity to connect with each other.

The theme for May: Autumn Adventures

The theme for the month of May is Autumn Adventures. The Playgroup will be exploring the changing weather, colourful leaves and learning about the fresh fruits and veggies that grow in this beautiful season. Come along for nature-inspired play, stories and hands=on fun for curious little ones and their parents or carers.
