AJ Green
The Girls Club Canberra
Innovative. Altruistic. Encouraging.
AJ Green is helping women across Canberra build friendships, confidence and a sense of belonging through The Girls Club Canberra. What began as a social walk has grown into a 6,500-strong community that encourages women to get active, try new sports and connect with others, while empowering volunteers to help shape and lead the club together.
If AJ is successful, the grant will fund venue hire, qualified instructors, marketing and volunteer coordination.
Carol Jennings
Water Wombats
Empathetic. Persistent. Inclusive
Carol Jennings is helping children with neurodiversity develop confidence and essential water safety skills through Water Wombats. The organisation provides inclusive swimming lessons, aquatic therapy and specialised programs that now support more than 150 children each year, while connecting families through peer support and community.
If Carol is successful, the grant will help develop Wombats HQ, a dedicated community hub bringing together inclusive aquatic programs and family support services in one place.
Eryn Marshall
Eryn Marshall Artistry
Courageous. Compassionate. Impactful.
Eryn Marshall uses art, storytelling and live illustration experiences to spark conversations about eating disorders and mental health. Through Eryn Marshall Artistry, she has engaged hundreds of people through exhibitions and community events, helping to build understanding, reduce stigma and foster hope. A portion of every sale also supports the Butterfly Foundation.
If Eryn is successful, the grant will help fund Eryn’s next fundraising exhibition on eating disorder awareness and mental wellbeing.
