How-to throw an epic Father's Day celebration at home
Sad because you can’t celebrate Dad the old fashioned way this year? We get it! But just because you’re at home, doesn’t mean you can't show Dad some love.
Here’s five ways to celebrate Dad on his special day from afar.
1. First things first, food
Start by picking up your favourite takeaway from Zambrero, Gourmet House and Kingsley's or check out Flavours of India, Chinese Kitchen Dumpling House and Grill'd on UberEats or Menulog for contactless delivery direct to his door. If you’d prefer to get busy in the kitchen, this dish is sure to impress.
2. Get gifting
DIY packs are perfect for the hands on Dad, giving him all his favourite things in one handy bundle. Shop online and grab some socks from David Jones, Rebel or Bonds, his favourite sweets from Naked Foods, Woolworths or Coles, and some shaving products like after shave balm and soap from Shaver Shop.
3. Get your party on
You’re in charge of bringing the party to life, now what? Jump online and grab some decorations from Big W to deck out your space. Think balloons, banners, streamers, outdoor picnic and anything that is colourful and fun.
4. Go virtual
Just because you can’t all be together in person to celebrate doesn’t mean you can’t share the special day with Dad. Take the celebration virtual via video! Usually a smartphone is all you need, but if you prefer to use your laptop and need a webcam, order online from JB Hi-Fi.
5. Plan for future fun
Give them something to look forward to, with a digital Westfield Gift Card that can be sent by email and used anywhere Apple Pay or Google Pay is accepted. Both physical and digital Gift Cards are valid for three years.
