The wait is over, Hunter & Barrel's new summer menu is here. Read on and unearth a wild twist on the familiar. The chefs have combined elements from earth, air, fire and water to bring depth to their menu. Expect more seafood, vegetarian and summer inspired dishes.
Roasted over the coals and grill
Start with some zesty pacific oysters with lime gin granita. Don't forget their classic hot cheese dip. With over 10 starters, you're spoilt for choice. Can't choose? A sharing platter will solve that.
Dive into a wild main, there's something for everyone. Seafood lovers, the Barramundi and mussels will catch your eye – surrounded by cherry tomatoes, chilli, garlic and buttery white wine broth. If vegetables are more your thing, there's a coal roasted cauliflower or smoked honey roast pumpkin salad to choose from.
Feast on the land with a honey grazed pork belly, Portuguese chicken, slow cooked beef short ribs, rump eye and chimichurri and chilli sauce. Feast on the ocean with mussels, hot bread, open fire Portuguese prawns, barramundi and chimichurri sauce. Which type of feast are you? Land or ocean.
There is always room for dessert, especially when it's the almighty pavlova. This one is made from brown sugar, with seasonal berries.
