Christmas at Westfield this year

Christmas at Westfield this year

It’s official: Christmas is coming, and we can already taste the mince pies. While this year has been unlike any other, we are committed to making sure your Christmas experience is safe and magical. That’s why, in line with health and government advice, we’ll be reimagining some of our much-loved Christmas experiences, including Santa photography at Westfield Whitford City. Here’s what you need to know.

Santa photography

Santa is coming to Westfield Whitford City. The much-loved tradition of visiting Santa will be balanced this year with prioritising the health and safety of our customers - and of course, Santa and his helpers.

While you won’t be able to sit on Santa’s knee this year, he’ll still be on his trusty red throne, with families positioned on separate seating, so everyone maintains physical distancing of 1.5 metres. The traditional portrait image will be replaced with a landscape shot, to allow for physical distancing. We encourage you to bring festive props or a favourite toy to create a unique and interactive Christmas memory.

For your wellbeing, a few extra safety measures will be in place, including hand sanitiser, additional elves to manage cleaning, and a screen for families to view their Santa pictures.

Contactless booking and payments mean customers can plan ahead and book online this year, with physically distanced waiting bays allotted to Santa's nice list (reserved appointments). We strongly encourage booking your Santa photography session in advance, as walk-ins will be limited. View the variety of photo packages available and book here now to secure a time that is convenient for you.

Pet Photography will also make a return this year, where you will be able to hold your two, frou or even eight-legged family member and be photographed with Santa.
