Bear Cottage provides support, respite and end-of-life care to children with life-limiting illnesses and their families. For the children Bear Cottage cares for, there is no happy ending, no miracle cure. As heart-breaking as this is, at Bear Cottage believes that life is for living and helps families to make the most of every day.

Bear Cottage is a wonderfully uplifting and inspiring place providing the very best of specialised paediatric palliative care. Bear Cottage believes that life, however brief, should be enriched, enjoyed and celebrated. With your support, Bear Cottage can continue to be a home that is full of special moments and cherished memories.

Families don’t pay to stay at Bear Cottage and your support ensures that Bear Cottage is always here to care for them. Bear Cottage is part of Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network and supported by Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation.

Bear Cottage Superhero Week is an annual fundraising event held in July to support Bear Cottage, the only children's hospice in New South Wales. It's a week where the community comes together to celebrate the strength and courage of children with life-limiting conditions and their families, while raising vital funds for the hospice.
