In the colder months, we're huddled inside trying to stay warm and can often feel gloomy so it's very common for our eating habits to change. Rather than ordering a stodgy meal on your delivery app, try an easy, nutrient-rich recipe that will still give you that comforting, homely feeling.

Jamie’s winter tips

  • Eat red meat every other day.
  • Eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.
  • Limit refined sugar.
  • Get active outdoors.
  • Ensure you are getting a good dose of iron rich red meat, such as beef to give you energy.
  • Slow release sources of carbohydrates, such as sweet potato and wholegrains, help feed our brain energy and keep us alert.
