Discover the Charlesworth Nuts Story
For 5 generations Charlesworth Nuts have been making and selling fresh nuts, chocolates and sweets. Charlesworth Nuts opened in Westfield Tea Tree Plaza 35 years ago in October of 1985.
In the late 80’s Charlesworth Nuts created their own glazing and chocolating departments which then gave their nuts all new, never before seen makeover! This was also around the same time as when the famous Charlesworth Nuts gift hampers were created. These gift hampers are famous for being South Australia’s most iconic Father’s Day and Christmas gifts – being the perfect gift for the difficult to buy for! In the early days 1,500 gift hampers were made each year, now that number is more than 170,000.
Jenny is the current store manager at Charlesworth Nuts Tea Tree Plaza and has been working at the store since October 1986. Jenny tell us her most favourite thing about working at the store is the variety of customers she gets to meet and the staff members she’s had the opportunity to work with. Jenny loves to entrenche the strong values and culture of the Charlesworth Nuts family business into new staff members and watch them grow.
Christmas is by far Jenny’s favourite time of year! She loves seeing the decorations go up in centre and feeling the excitement in the air amongst customers.
