Autumn trends: keep things fresh this fall

Autumn trends: keep things fresh this fall

The colder months don’t always mean doom and gloom in terms of your outfit. The ever-fashionable Roberta Pecoraro shows us how to inject some colour and style into our Autumn wardrobes, keeping things ultra fresh this fall. Colour is the new black this season as Roberta talks us through this season's fun and flirty trends.

Trend 1: pastels

“Pastels are a go-to in any season and I’m loving that they’re back in a big way for autumn. My pick is to partner a pastel hue with prints, or a more masculine piece of clothing, like these Dion Lee pants. This way I don't feel washed out.”

Trend 2: bold colour blocking

“The colour of the season is yellow! I'm particularly loving this matching pant suit in a mustard shade which is a perfect bold Autumn fashion statement."

Trend 3: prints

"I vibe prints all year round and even more in the in-between season of Autumn. The brighter the better I say! I also love adding some strength to a delicate floral pattern by pairing with a tomboy sneaker."

Trend 4: the boiler suit

"The boiler suit is an update on the basic jumpsuit and is this season’s absolute must have. Try a classic long sleeve boiler, or for a more fashion forward style, I’m loving this Alice McCall number – fitted, wide leg and a front zip – winning!"
