Duck & Rice
Occupying an enviable rooftop position at Westfield Sydney within the Sydney CBD.
Modern Cantonese cuisine carries the weight of the menu, supported by provincial Chinese culinary influences. From dim sum and silky noodles to sizzling stir-fries and fresh seafood, expect colour, texture and above all, flavour across the a la carte and bar food menus.
The menu includes the likes of Cantonese roast duck pancakes, steamed garlic king prawns with shallot oil and soy sauce, crispy egg tofu with pak choy, shiitake mushroom and crispy lotus, wok-fried egg white and blue simmer crab, char siu barbecue pork with cashews and pickled cucumber and wok-fried razor clams with chili bean sauce
The drinks menu includes signature cocktails with a Cantonese twist as well as house-made flavoured sodas, mocktails, gin and tonic on tap, and a selection of old and new world wines
Elegant, moody and modern, the interior design of the 400-seat restaurant is inspired by traditional Chinese and Art Deco from Hong Kong and Shanghai in the 1930s. Warm timbers and marble are accented by cool blues and greens and balanced with gold trim. The outdoor dining space features an outdoor lantern room; a glowing canopy for diners to take in the sights and sounds of the city.
Duck & Rice will be the third Sydney venue for Mantle Group Hospitality (MGH) and 16th venue in the group. It shares the rooftop space with another venue from MGH, Babylon.
