The 400 square meter boutique marks an important step in the development of Valentino’s worldwide retail network expansion and it continues the innovative store concept developed by the Valentino Creative Direction.
With floor and walls completely covered by Terrazzo, the intent is to define a unique and extensive solid room. The store concept take advantage of the natural lighting coming from the large windows facing the outside.
The boutique carries both men’s and women’s collections, accessories and fragrances, that are separated by a gypsum partition that act as transparent screens and that define smaller areas with different merchandise categories. A new display furniture system is introduced in the middle of the space and adds to the current display system made of hanging elements positioned along the boutiques perimeter walls. A series of decorative furniture pieces in different materials and shapes, are placed in the middle of the areas that convey a sense of comfort and the overall lighting reflects the variety of the spaces and finishes.
The Store Front is realized entirely in Venetian terrazzo, an iconic material that is recurrent in Valentino stores and with two large shop windows that foreshow the inside.
The global Valentino store concept creates a personal atmosphere while still maintaining the band’s fundamental values of craftsmanship, romanticism and classical style.
