Furla “Fur-Free” Collections starting from Cruise 2019
Milan, March 2018 - The Furla Group announces its commitment to abolish the use of animal fur in its collections.
Starting with the Cruise 2019 season - available in stores from November 2018 - all the Furla products in both Women’s and Men’s collections, will be made using eco-fur.
A testimony to the special attention given to delicate problems related to the protection of and respect for the environment, Furla has shown an increasing sensitivity towards the animal welfare. The brand has decided to go ahead with of “Fur-Free” collections. This is in response to the increasing awareness and ethical requirements of the market.
The technical progress in eco-fur material has resulted in compelling alternatives that render pointless the use of real animal fur.
Alberto Camerlengo, CEO of the Furla Group states: “Over the course of the last year, Furla has seen an exponential growth on an international level. The decision to progressively ban the use of animal fur from the collections is a project that confirms the brand’s growing interest in the environment, with a special attention to animals, a sensitive theme for Furla. Moreover, this decision responds to an increasing demand of ethical products from a consumer, who is increasingly aware and attentive to these issues”.
